The accolades continue to roll in for Penn State during the preseason, particularly for Brent Pry’s defense.
The most recent additions to #WatchListSZN are Shaka Toney and Micah Parsons, who have been added to the list for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, which is given annually since 1993 to the nation’s best defensive player.
This is the first watch list appearance for Toney, who came to Penn State at just around 200 pounds and has since transformed himself into one of the best pass rush specialists in the Big Ten.
For Parsons, it marks his third watch list appearance of the season after he found his name of the lists for the Bednarik and Butkus awards previously.
