Every Penn State player is on every watch list for every award.
Or, so it might seem thus far. The absurdity that is watch list season is in full swing. Last week we saw KJ Hamler, Micah Parsons and Yetur Gross-Matos recognized. Now it’s the turn of three more Nittany Lions to be recognized, while Parsons popped back up again.
The sophomore linebacker joined senior Cam Brown on the preseason watch list for the Butkus Award given annually to the nation’s best linebacker. And, on an additionally fun note, Penn State commit Curtis Jacobs was named to watch list for the high school version of the award.
