Vega Ioane immediatley captured attention of Nittany Lion fans when he joined the 2022 recruiting class. Hailing from Graham, Washington Ioane was a 350 lb. prospect who was also amazingly quick on his feet with loads of potential to become a standout at the next level.
After taking a redshirt season, Ioane became a regular part of an outstanding offensive line unit in 2023. He played in every game, starting five and being selected as an All-Big Ten honorable mention pick, as well as Academic All-Big Ten honors.
