It’s 46 days until Penn State football and with no one currently with that number in the roster, let’s look back to a Big Ten title team.
On that 2008 team that finished 11-1, No. 46 was worn by linebacker Tyrell Sales.
The Butler, PA native came to Penn State as a defensive end prospect, before making the switch to linebacker.
In 2008, he finished third on the team in tackles, playing alongside Navorro Bowman and Josh Hull as a starter. He had 2.5 tackles for loss on the year and came up with an interception in the game from that year that we don’t want to talk about today.
