Penn State has a pair of players wearing No. 44 this season, a season which will start in that number of days in Morgantown.
Tyler Warren is back for his senior season at the tight end position. The former high school quarterback has made the transition to tight end seamlessly and figures to be an intriguing NFL prospect. He has 49 career receptions for 606 yards and 11 touchdown receptions. Those 11 TD catches are already 18th best all-time at Penn State.
Warren was one of the offensive bright spots in the Peach Bowl loss at the end of December.
