Offensive lineman Stefen Wisniewski had a deep-seeded Penn State bloodline before joining the program himself in 2007, a top five player out of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in a time when the general public wasn’t sure if PSU football was truly back.
Wisniewski’s father, Leo, and uncle, Steve, both saw significant time for the Nittany Lions and were parts of iconic teams in Happy Valley, and the younger Wiz left his mark as part of iconic teams himself. He was the rare offensive lineman who saw time on the field in his true freshman season, seeing time in over half the games of his first year in the blue and white.
