At 77 days to go, we meet up with offensive lineman Sal Wormley! A part of the 2019 recruiting class, Sal has been with the program for a long time. First redshirting in 2019, Wormley has steadily increased his playing time over the years, finally breaking into the starting rotation in 2022, when he earned All-Big Ten honorable mention honors after starting all 13 games.
The same continued in 2023, where Sal continued to lock down the right guard position, starting 13 games and again garnering All-Big Ten honorable mention. 2024 will be Wormley’s last season with the team, where he looks to be locked in for a third straight year starting.
