Here’s a fun brainteaser for your Tuesday morning: Rasheed Walker is Penn State’s best offensive tackle since: ________________________________?
You have to go a ways back, likely to 15 years back when Levi Brown was playing for the blue and white before being the fifth overall selection in the 2007 NFL Draft.
Walker came to Penn State as the seventh-ranked offensive tackle in the nation, and the second-best player to come out of Maryland in his class. He has certainly not disappointed, exceeding the lofty expectations as a two-year starter at left tackle. Walker had the option to head for the NFL following the 2020 season, but decided to come back for at least one more season in Happy Valley.
