We’re now just 10 days away from Penn State kicking off its 2024 season, which means we get to feature junior running back Nicholas Singleton.
Singleton came to Penn State as a five-star prospect, and made an impact immediately during his freshman season. He led the Nittany Lions in rushing yards (1,061) and rushing touchdowns (12) on the year, and proved to be a critical home run threat out of the backfield that Penn State had been missing since Journey Brown in 2019.
Singleton’s sophomore season wasn’t quite as productive. He struggled to generate big runs, which in turn dropped his efficiency as a rusher.
