As the saying goes, punting is winning - but what about kicking *AND* punting?
We’re 98 days out until the Nittany Lions take the field against the Badgers, and today’s post is all about special teams stalwart Jordan Stout, a combo kicker-punter who transferred from Virginia Tech to PSU prior to the 2019 season.
Stout came to Penn State with the promise of a scholarship, having been a walk on for the Hokies, and he made his presence felt immediately. His strong leg led him to be the kickoff specialist for most of the 2019 season, his first in Happy Valley, and he ended that season fourth in the FBS for number of kickoffs that resulted in touchbacks.
