This isn’t the first time we’ve used Joe Jurevicius as our 83 days representative on this countdown, and it probably won’t be last. Anytime we don’t have a current player who wears the No. 83 jersey, Jurevicius acts as our safety valve, that guy who if you go to him, will end up coming through for you. That summarizes his career as a Nittany Lion from 1994-1997, where he totaled just shy of 1,900 career receiving yards and 15 touchdowns, and later as an NFL player, where totaled over 4,000 yards receiving and was part of the Buccaneers’ first-ever Super Bowl winning team back in 2003.
