It’s now 65 days until Penn State takes on West Virginia and for the second time in two days, we look at a walk-on offensive lineman.
Jim Fitzgerald is a sophomore tackle from Maryland, where he was a three-year letter winner at Archbishop Spalding alongside current Nittany Lion safety Zakee Wheatley.
Fitzgerald appeared in two games during the 2022 season when injuries ravaged Penn State’s offensive line late in the year. During that season, he was named the team’s co-most valuable offensive scout team player.
While Fitzgerald did not see any playing time last year, he will enter his third year in blue and white looking to get a few reps in MACtion games.
