In yesterday's Days Until post, we took a look at one of the current punters on the roster, Chris Gulla. Today, we keep the punter train rolling with a former great: Jeremy Kapinos.
Jeremy joined Penn State via Springfield, VA, and took over the punting duties for Dear Old State during the depths of the dark years. In 2003, Kapinos' freshman year, Penn State managed a paltry 3 wins, with several close losses. Jeremy was a bright spot of sorts for that team, as he averaged 41.9 yards per punt. In a season with multiple tight games, Jeremy's ability to flip the field kept the Nittany Lions from being blown out.
