With exactly six weeks to go until the Nittany Lions kick off their season opener at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin, we honor a true freshman linebacker from the midwest in Jamari Buddin. A four-star recruit out of Michigan in the 2021 class, Buddin is a virtual lock to redshirt this year being behind such studs as Brandon Smith and Curtis Jacobs. Give him a couple of years in the strength and conditioning program though, and at the very least, you will see him become a key member of the linebacking rotation, if not an outright starter.
