Gerald Cadogan crossed the Ohio border to join Penn State ahead of the 2004 season after a stellar athletic career at Portsmouth High School. After redshirting, he became a key reserve for the 2005 team that shocked the nation with a Big Ten championship and Orange Bowl victory to cap off a season ranked #3 in the nation after being picked to finish last in the Big Ten by many outlets.
