We continue our countdown until the return of Penn State football with Gerald Cadogan.
The 6-foot-5, 309-pound Cadogan had quite the career in Happy Valley:
- Two-year starter at left tackle on the 2007 and 2008 teams
- Consensus first-team All-Big Ten in 2008
- Two-time Academic All-American
- 2008 finalists for the William V. Campbell Trophy AKA the “Academic Heisman”
With all those accolades, it should be no surprise that Cadogan has had a successful life post-Penn State. He had a cup of coffee in the NFL from 2009-2010, and then played two seasons in the Canadian Football League before calling it a career.
