82 days to go brings us redshirt freshman receiver Ethan Black!
Hailing from Davidsville, Ethan was a 4-year varsity player and a team captain as a senior in high school, earning all-conference, all-area, and all-county honors for his efforts. In high school, Black was a multirole player, logging snaps as a wide receiver, defensive back, and return man.
At Penn State, Ethan redshirted his freshman year, though put in serious work for the practice squad: he was named the Developmental Squad Offensive Player of the Year along with Addison Penn. Black hopes to springboard that success to playing time on the field, and there does appear to be some openings in the receiving corps - perhaps we’ll be hearing more of Ethan’s name in just a few months’ time!
