Standing at 6’8 and looking lean, Eagan Boyer would seem to be a viable low-post presence for Mike Rhoades’s basketball team.
But instead, Boyer is a big risk, big reward type of offensive tackle recruit.
The 6’8, 273-pound Boyer enrolled for spring ball and will almost assuredly redshirt as he works to learn to play the position at the Power 4 level. Still, he has an intriguing frame for the position and chose the Lions over a couple of SEC schools.
Penn State will be on the field in Morgantown in 64 days.
