Penn State’s quarterback has been the subject of much debate this offseason, mostly focused on the past. Was his 2023 season good? Let’s look at the metrics. He started his career with 311 passing attempts without an interception, which broke Robert Griffin III’s NCAA record. He is one of two quarterbacks EVER to throw for over 25 touchdowns and less than two picks in a single season. He also has four games throughout his career with both a passing and rushing touchdown. Now the other side of the argument is of course his performance against Ohio State and Michigan, where Allar was unable to break through against two staunch defenses.
