Brenton Strange is repping the countdown today, and it’s totally fitting that he’s doing so just a day after we honored Pat Freiermuth. Strange stepped up in a big way as the starter after Freiermuth was lost to a season-ending injury halfway through the 2020 season, finishing the season with 17 catches for 164 yards and a pair of touchdowns, including his now-signature leap into the end zone during the week-before-Christmas rout of Illinois (see video below). Look for Brenton to team up with Theo Johnson to give PSU a deadly shake ‘n bake combo in the 12 personnel offensively in 2021.
