Brendan Brosnan was one of James Franklin’s first ever commits in Happy Valley, flipping to PSU mere weeks after the coach took over the reigns of the Penn State program.
Like many offensive linemen, he redshirted his first season, but did see time as a redshirt freshman last year, first seeing the field against Rutgers. He eventually logged time at offensive tackle in nine games last season.
Hailing from Illinois, Brosnan was truly #elite and has packed on about twenty pounds since arriving on campus. He bolsters an offensive line that’s been much maligned, but should see an improvement this year with the arrival of Joe Moorhead and a brand-spanking new offense.
