Two Nittany Lions have achieved the honor of AP All-Americans for their performances during the 2023 season. Offensive tackle Olu Fashanu was selected as a first-team All-American, while defensive end Chop Robinson was named to the third team.
Fashanu joined Penn State as a three-star prospect in the 2020 class. While he did not play as a true freshman during the COVID-shortened season, he soon developed into a dominant force at tackle. In his three years on the field, Fashanu did not allow a single sack and was a vital piece of the offenses lead by Sean Clifford and Drew Allar.
