The No. 11 Nittany Lions were swept by No. 2 Ohio State (25-22, 25-20, 25-18) in Columbus. The contest was the last of a three game road trip for the Lions.
The first set saw a good start from the Lions, but a better close by the Buckeyes. Miles Johnson tallied seven kills in what would be a 25-22 victory by Ohio State. The set was a back and forth affair until Peter Edwards served for Ohio State. The Buckeyes went on a seven point run to put the Lions away.
From there, it did not seem like the Lions had a chance, losing each set by a wider margin.
