After a weekend in which few of the ranked teams played challenging games, this week's FWAA Super 16 poll had few changes.
The Alabama Crimson Tide remained on top with 42 of a possible 45 first-place votes after cruising past Western Kentucky, 38-10. Florida State stayed at No. 2, receiving two first-place ballots. The only notable switch among the leaders was Ohio State climbing into the No. 3 spot after another a 48-3 defeat of Tulsa with Clemson slipping to fourth after its 30-24 home struggle with Troy.
Nothing much happened in the B1G week 2 other than a few bowling-pin opponents being toppled.
