A coach never want to see a zero in the box score next to his or her team’s name.
But despite Friday's 7-0 loss, Penn State’s women’s tennis coach Chris Cagle said that if his team continues to compete like it did today, good things will be in store for the rest of the season.
“I don’t think [the score] is indicative of the level of competition and how close this match was,” Cagle said. “Up and down every court, the matches were close and competitive, so we’re going to take the things that we’ve got to work on to get better and get back to work tomorrow.
