Just days after receiving a commitment from the top-ranked high school wrestler in the country at 170 pounds, Penn State picked up a commitment from the wrestler ranked right behind him on Sunday.
Pennsyvania state champion Trey Kibe announced that he had committed to Penn State’s 2021 class. Kibe joins the aforementioned Alex Facundo in the class, giving the Nittany Lions some interesting options with regards to weight class juggling. Facundo appears to project to 174 or 184, while Kibe said in an interview with PennLive’s Dustin Hockensmith that he expects to be either 184 or 197 in college.
