Just hours before a big dual with the Wisconsin Badgers which you can read about here, the Penn State wrestling program picked up a huge commitment for its 2021 class.
Alex Facundo, the No. 5 overall recruit in the 2021 class, announced on his Instagram account that he had committed to the Nittany Lions.
Facundo, a two-time Cadet World bronze medalist, has been one of the most highly coveted prospects in the country since his freshman season. He’s already a two-time Michigan state champion and is well on his way to becoming a four-timer.
The junior projects to 174 pounds but could well continue to grow.
