Penn State basketball and Mike Rhoades just landed a signature recruit as Kayden Mingo, the 42nd ranked player in the country according to the 247Sports Composite, made the call for the Nittany Lions earlier this morning on the Breakfast Club radio show.
Mingo made six official visits the last two months, making stops at Notre Dame, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Xavier, and Penn State. He eventually whittled his way down to two schools — Penn State and Wake Forest — with the Nittany Lions coming out on top.
Mingo now joins four-star forward Mason Blackwood and three-star center Justin Houser as Penn State’s third prospect in the 2025 recruiting class.
