At one point, Wingo’s recruitment looked pretty straightforward, with the Buckeyes being his “dream school.” His 247Sports Crystal Ball was all Ohio State, and it seemed like only a matter of time before Wingo made the call for the Buckeyes.
But that was until Wingo made his way to Happy Valley. Coming in on the Friday before the Whiteout game, Wingo spent the entire weekend in State College, and once he left, it seemed like the tide began to change.
