Just a couple of days after landing its first 2022 commitment in Kanye Clary, Penn State basketball went back to the transfer portal to bring in a key front court player in former Western Michigan power forward Greg Lee.
Western Michigan transfer Greg Lee tells ESPN he’s committed to Penn State. Averaged 13.0 points, 7.2 boards. Honorable mention All-MAC.
“Committing to Penn State for me personally was a blessing ... No better way to push yourself and your limits then competing in the Big Ten.”— Jeff Borzello (@jeffborzello) June 6, 2021The stat line mentioned in the above tweet says it all (though I’m sure the usual suspects of negative nancies amongst the commentariat will find a way to crap on this addition, given that he’s not a power conference transfer).
