LARAMIE — The Wyoming football team has its bye next week, but the Cowboys defense could use some rest this Saturday.
The defense has spent a combined 72 minutes, 1 second on the field its last two games, playing 173 downs in the process. The Oregon Ducks ran 95 plays against Wyoming, the most by a Cowboy opponent in regulation since 2004, and Hawaii took the Pokes to overtime while running 30 more plays than them.
