After sweeping Lindenwood last weekend, Penn State extended its winning streak to 10 and moved up to No. 8 in the USCHO rankings.
“I think just everybody contributing and I think in particular Katie DeSa in goal has played exceptionally well,” coach Jeff Kampersal said. “Then players like Tessa (Janecke), (Katelyn Roberts) and Maddy Christian, players that we expect to score are scoring, and we’re getting secondary scoring as well.”
The scoring has come from many players, and the team has consistently become closer throughout the season, building chemistry as it stacks wins.
The bonding starts with the captains and goes through the entire team.
