Following a Game 1, 3-2 victory over RIT, Penn State had an opportunity to put the series away and advanced to the AHA Championship with a Game 2 win.
The Nittany Lions controlled most of the game and defeated RIT, 4-0, clinching their spot in the AHA Tournament final.
It was a much slower start than Game 1, with a lot of neutral zone time as the Tigers held off an early attack.
The first shot of the game didn’t come until the 16-minute mark of the first period as Penn State forward Stella Retrum rifled a shot on net.
