Penn State hockey was swept by Michigan State this weekend, dropping the second game 7-3. The Lions have now lost four straight conference games in regulation.
First Period
It was a quick start for the Lions, with Aiden Fink opening the scoring at 4:22 of the first.
The early momentum did not last for long, as the Spartans tied the game midway through the first on a goal by Karsen Dorwart. Joey Larson followed up with a goal on the power play to give Michigan State its first lead of the game, and Red Savage scored on a redirected shot with 4:36 left until the intermission.
