With Big Ten play rolling along and just over a week left until they reach the end-of-season station, the No. 4 Nittany Lions welcomed the No. 8 Purdue Boilermakers to Rec Hall.
Penn State swept Purdue 3-0 in a contest that viewed more competitively than the scoreboard indicated.
The tone was set with the first match, where through the 15 point media timeout, the largest run by either team was a three-point stretch by Penn State.
Camryn Hannah paced the team in scoring early including two kills during the early streak.
The run didnt’t sustain momentum for the home team, as the game entered its first break with a 15-13 Boilermakers lead.
