Coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley's 8-0 squad is set to face another marquee opponent this week.
No. 3 Penn State will visit No. 1 Pittsburgh at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Petersen Events Center, marking the Nittany Lions’ fourth match against a ranked foe.
“I’m excited for that matchup,” Schumacher-Cawley said after Penn State faced St. John’s last Saturday night. “I’m excited for the team to compete.”
The blue and white is coming off of winning the Penn State Invitational after sweeping Duke, Princeton and St. John’s. Dominating in all three matches, the Nittany Lions haven’t lost a set since their match against then-No.
