No. 3 Penn State was in the midst of three straight road games when it traveled to Bloomington to take on Indiana.
The Nittany Lions held off a hard-fought battle from Indiana to win 3-1 on the road.
The Hoosiers and Nittany Lions battled back and forth through the beginning of the match, with Penn State not dropping its lead.
However, Indiana took its first lead and was the first to 10 points, leading 10-9. Both teams alternated points as a Jess Mruzik kill tied the match up again at 10 points.
The Hoosiers went on their first run of the game and pulled out to a three-point lead in the opening set.
