Penn State Women’s Soccer faced UCLA in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament at 4 p.m. Monday.
The Nittany Lions fell to the higher-ranked Bruins, 1-0, officially ending the blue and white’s conference endeavors for the 2024-25 season.
Some changes in the Nittany Lions’ usual tactics were seen in the beginning of the game, including kicking the ball past midfield on goal kicks as they tried to push the game into the offense instead of starting the game from the back.
The Bruins offense pressured the blue and white in the starting minutes of the match, but Penn State’s defense didn’t cave in.
