Since 2004, Penn State has beaten Maryland and Thursday night was no exception.

The blue and white took down the Terrapins, winning 5-0 in a Big Ten conference game.

Mackenzie Gress started in goal for the Nittany Lions. The redshirt sophomore had only played in two games on the season before making the start in net on Thursday.

Gress has only allowed one goal on the season and looked to keep that number as she took on the Terrapins.

Maryland dominated possession at the beginning of the first half, getting more shots and corner kicks than Penn State.
