No. 19 Penn State will travel across the country to Phoenix in search of its first ranked win when it faces No. 15 Grand Canyon.
Game 1 starts at 9 p.m. Saturday, followed by Game 2 at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Since their 0-7 start to the season, the Nittany Lions’ momentum has flipped. The blue and white is 5-1 over its last six games, including three sweeps, and is playing some of its best volleyball.
The recent success comes from Will Kuhns’ offensive impact and the middle blockers’ defensive prowess.
Kuhns leads the team with 148 kills and has been a consistent threat throughout the season.
