After the wave that has been the Penn State Men’s Hockey season, every game is a must-win to stay afloat in NCAA Tournament contention as they reach the regular season’s end.
This weekend, their task is a rematch with the No. 1 Michigan State Spartans in East Lansing. The teams will meet at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at Munn Ice Arena.
The Spartans sit at 22-5-3, including a 10-2-1 mark on home ice, and are coming off of a series split with then-No. 12 Michigan that saw them regain the No. 1 spot in the USCHO Poll.
