Penn State tied UCLA, in a scoreless effort between two ranked opponents.

The blue and white started the game dominating ball possession. However, the Bruins weren’t going to give the Nittany Lions an easy game. Capitalizing on Penn State's first mistake, Quincy McMahon got in front of the goal but struck the ball slightly off-target.
