After dropping consecutive matches on the road to No. 24 Ohio State and No. 1 Nebraska, No. 15 Penn State (19-9, 7-10 Big Ten) will look to return to form when it returns home to face Purdue (17-11, 10-6 Big Ten) on Saturday.
Rec Hall has been good to the Nittany Lions, who are 11-2 at home but 6-6 away from Happy Valley. However, one of the Lions’ road wins came in West Lafayette, Indiana, where they defeated the Boilermakers in straight sets.
Much like the Lions, the Boilermakers have struggled on the road, going 4-5. Despite their road woes, the Boilermakers are coming into the match with some momentum, having won their past two matches, including a road win at Indiana.
