No. 12 Penn State continued its two-game home series against the Robert Morris Colonials after winning a 5-0 shutout on Friday.
The Nittany Lions defeated the Colonials, 4-0.
The action started fast for the Colonials as they fired two slapshots at Penn State goalie Katie DeSa, who made the save both times within the first minute.
The blue and white had two early opportunities for goals after the puck laid loosely in front of the net. However, Robert Morris cleared the puck before a Nittany Lion could get a stick on it.
Penn State appeared to have gotten its first chance on the power play after a tripping call on Robert Morris defender Emma Goding.
