The last time the Nittany Lions and the Garnet Chargers met, they split the series 1-1 on Penn State’s home ice. This weekend, the teams will face off again, this time in Schenectady, New York.
Game 1 is set for 6 p.m. Friday, followed by a 1 p.m. Saturday matinee to close out the series.
The first game of January’s double header resulted in a 2-1 overtime loss for Penn State after a quick overtime goal from Forward Maddie Leaney just a minute into the extra period.
The Nittany Lions bounced back after the Game 1 upset, thrashing Union College 6-2 the following night.
