No. 12 Penn State is set for its second game of the season against unranked Villanova. The blue and white will head on the road to face the Wilcats at noon on Sunday. After defeating Colgate 14-9 last weekend, the Nittany Lions began the season strong.
Penn State tallied their 579th victory in program history and now lead the all-time series against Colgate, 15-10.
Forward Matt Traynor impressed in the home opener. The Downington, Pennsylvania native posted his second seven-point game of his career with five goals and two assists.
Traynor currently sits at 99 career points on 83 goals and 16 assists.
