If the winner of Saturday night's game between No.10 Penn State and IPFW was determined by which teams bench had the most outlandish celebrations, then the Nittany Lions may have lost in straight sets.
Unfortunately for the Mastodons, that is not how volleyball games are determined. On the court, it was the Lions who took care of IPFW in straight sets Saturday night at Rec Hall.
Despite winning the final two sets by a combined margin of 18 points, the match did not get off to the start that Lions' coach Mark Pavlik would have liked. The Lions won the first set 26-28, but had to fight hard for it.
