UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Few college sports atmospheres compare to the intimate confines inside a packed Rec Hall. Fans are on top of the action, creating the ultimate home court advantage.
The Nittany Lion basketball team (5-3) will return to Rec Hall for only the second time in more than 18 years on Thursday when the Lions kick off two-straight games in the historic building on Thursday against Canisius (7 p.m. on BTN Plus). Penn State will host Louisiana-Monroe in Rec Hall on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Thursday's game will be contested in front of a terrific crowd, and head coach Patrick Chambers is fired up to coach his second game in the historic building.
