Penn State climbed multiple places in both polls by virtue of their dominating win of Washington, and the upsets of two top-five teams.
The Nittany Lions rose to fourth in the Associated Press and fifth in the Coaches Poll after their 35-6 shellacking of the Huskies. Big Ten teams in the rankings include top-ranked Oregon, second-ranked Ohio State, and Indiana, who ranks fifth in the AP and sixth in the Coaches Poll. Penn State heads to West Lafayette Saturday afternoon to take on Purdue. The game will kickoff at 3:30 PM and will be televised on CBS.
