Bo Nickal found himself in unfamiliar territory heading into the final period in his match against Ohio State’s Myles Jordan.
He was behind in points.
But after a 10-point third period, Penn State’s redshirt freshman came back to win the bout 11-5, aiding the No. 1 Nittany Lions (13-0, 8-0 Big Ten) in their 24-14 win over the No. 3 Buckeyes (9-3, 6-2 Big Ten) on Friday at the Bryce Jordan Center.
“I was just kind of thinking, ‘Keep wrestling. This is fun.’” Nickal said about what was going through his head when he was losing.
